New Membership Class

All are welcomed to join Union Wesley AME Zion Church. Each new member is encouraged to attend our new membership class that meets each Sunday morning in room 206 at 9:30 AM.

The new membership class is for eight weeks and is designed to give new members an opportunity to learn in a spiritual and accepting environment that will help them grow and to get to know our beliefs, history, and the various ministries in our local church.

Members

Each member is expected to engage in both public and private worship. We recommend the use of devotional materials published by the A.M.E. Zion Church, and other related resources as aids in private worship. We strongly encourage family worship each week. Each member is encouraged to be in regular attendance in our services of worship, which includes Sunday Church School, Morning Worship Service, Tuesday Night Prayer Meeting, Wednesday Night Bible Study, and Friday Night Bible Focus. All members are expected to support the ministry and programs of our church by getting actively involved; to regularly give of your Tithes and Offerings to support the work and ministry; to work together to develop a true spirit of Christian fellowship in the life Church; and to participate in the evangelism and outreach ministry of the church designed for enhancing spiritual growth and reaching out to meet the needs of others.
